This document governs the terms and conditions of use and contracting of the website www.8mares.es. Accessing and using this site grants you the status of user and implies full acceptance of these conditions.

1. Purpose of the website

The purpose of this website is to provide information about and allow the contracting of recreational boat rental services, sailing training courses and related nautical services.

2. Booking conditions

• To confirm a booking, a deposit of €100 must be paid, which is deducted from the total price.
• The remaining amount is paid on boarding day, by card or in cash.
• Fuel is not included unless stated otherwise: the boat is handed over with a full tank and must be returned full.
• For rentals without a skipper, the user must present a valid ID and sailing licence.
• On boarding day, a security deposit of €500 is blocked on a credit card and released after the boat has been checked (up to 72 hours depending on your bank).

3. Cancellations and refunds

The cancellation conditions, with their deadlines and refund percentages, are detailed in the cancellation policy, which forms part of these conditions.

4. Intellectual property

All content on the website (texts, images, logos, design, etc.) is owned by Social Strategic Tourism SL or used under licence.

5. Applicable law

These conditions are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts of the user's place of residence where consumer regulations so provide and, failing that, to the courts of Alicante.
